The Deckers asked me to photograph their family holiday get-together for 2015. It is quite remarkable to see the changes and passage of time with the Deckers since my first session with them in 2011. I hope to see more additional layers to the family down the road.
There is something to be said about effort and its reward. Little over a month we decided to do a family photo shoot, but due to life and its sense of humor it almost did not happen. Then we finally got a exhale of a break. Saturday morning from eight to nine was the small sliver of time we both were able to agree and boom!
Ah the joy of spring! The Majer’s wanted a simple photo of their daughters wearing a spring dress in celebration of the warm weather upon us. We went to Fells Point in Baltimore and had some fun with the camera. Family is the most important thing.
I love working with the O’Briens. Their house is always welcomed with laughter, joy, and random running around. Every time I take out my camera they are ready to roll with funny facial expression filled with energy–it is contagious.
This is the last part of their Majer’s Moments Series–capturing everyday moments of living and working in Baltimore city. We had a quick outing at the American Visionary Art Museum. The weather was a bit cold, but the sun compensated for it.
Winter night is the perfect time for an ice cream. 🙂 As part their Moment Series we set out to eat ice cream at their local ice cream parlor called The Charmery. It was a cold and brittle evening, but an ice cream was the perfect solution to fire up the hearth.
