After the rain. Page, Arizona United States
The first night it rained heavily in Page, Arizona. Once it passed the landscape revealed a different textures, aspects, and motions. It’s humbling to have observed the rare instance of it.
When the rain washes you clean, you’ll know.
Petrified Forest National Park. Arizona, United States
Photography some times feels like a fools errand–trying to capture infinity with a finite tool. The psyche of the landscape was so dynamic filled with unimaginable textures, unheard of colors, and irresistible contour. I picked up some earth sample and rubbed it on my hands, smelled it, and I melted for I felt molecularly connected.
Lower Antelope Canyon. Page, Arizona, United States
Going through Lower Antelope feels like flowing through her hair–the waves, lines, and color.
New Mexico, United States
Driving through New Mexico was curiously beautiful. During our trip we experienced wide range of weather from eerie ice storm to Martini dry weather. Of all the places we loved exploring Petroglyph National MonumentM in Albuquerque. The hike was seamless, quiet, and filled with petroglyphs!
Communication Rock Enér. Page, Arizona, United States
When I lived in Page, Arizona there was this one spot I loved going after work. The locals called in Beer Can Hill or . There I would go for long walks in solitude, ponder about many things, wrap myself in its silence, and keep on walking–sometimes at hours at end. Also, when I had to make a call that spot had the best cell reception. I called this rock my communication rock, allowed me to connect to the external world as well as my internal. I sincerely miss taking my evening stroll there.
Partying In Page, Arizona
One of the greatest joy of traveling is meeting new friends. The exchange of big laughters, crazy stories, and bear hugs are the building blocks of awesome friendship–and my friends in Page, Arizona are just that. Everything from playing Mexican Train, having a BBQ, or simply getting together for dinner, they do it with a glorious gesture. Life is grand and amazing in the Southwest, just like the nature. These are some of photos from us partying and hanging hard. I love you all, can’t wait to see you guys again soon.
Friends Of Page, Arizona
Life always surprises me, how a simple “Yes” can have a huge ripple effect connecting to others beyond one’s perception. Four years ago I almost didn’t go on the multi-day trip with the guys at Hidden Canyon Kayak. The owner, Dave Panu, made it work so I could go on the trip and what an life changing experience it was. After the trip I started working for them (website and social media), befriended awesome new people every time I come out here for a yearly business trip. We go out on Lake Powell together, share food, silly stories, and play. Life is grande when you connect.

Sometimes a cancelation is a direction to an unexpected surprise. This morning a photo shoot got cancelled and I decided to clean a bit. During the process I found a SM card tumbling in my old bag. When I downloaded the content, it was some of my photos from Berlin–it brought a sadden smile to my face.
