There is something to be said about effort and its reward. Little over a month we decided to do a family photo shoot, but due to life and its sense of humor it almost did not happen. Then we finally got a exhale of a break. Saturday morning from eight to nine was the small sliver of time we both were able to agree and boom!
I love working with the O’Briens. Their house is always welcomed with laughter, joy, and random running around. Every time I take out my camera they are ready to roll with funny facial expression filled with energy–it is contagious.
These are everyday moments from New Year’s eve breakfast to a normal day. A day with the O’Brien is filled with hearty laughters and warm Korean food.
This Christmas was a special occasion for the O’Briens and I am honored to be a part of it. This year all of their family got together for the first time in many many years. The grandparents were melting with a grin to see all their kids, everyone was hugging, kids running around like molecules, and the smell of amazing food–wow. This is what the holidays are all about–getting together for one precious moment. Thank you!
Haha!!! There is no better way to start my blog post when talking about the O’Briens. Their kids always give me a hearty laugh every time I photograph them. They run, jump, and sing like a full broadway production with endless supply of energy–with a goofy twist. I wonder what they feed their kids, because I want some!
Few weeks ago it was Camden’s (하은) 1st Birthday. The weather blessed the day allowing everyone to be outside to celebrate the event–more like a block party. We all had yummy Korean food, good drinks, and great time. Happy Birthday!
The paradox of describing a paradox, that is how I feel when thinking about the O’Briens. At first glance they seem like your model citizen family–proper, well behaved, and sweet. However when let loose they are a mega goof ball like a flying fire turtle thats herds cats in the air. I’m not sure what they feed their kids, but I want some of it! Photographing the O’Briens always been a pleasure and a hoot. The kids are just so animated and in your face like a puppies.
If you want a fun family photo session, seek out the O’Briens. They are playful like kittens, full of apple juice energy, constantly laughing, and super easy to get along with. On the day of the shoot, the heavens granted us very pleasing weather—a toasty sun and very little wind. Our session took place around Federal Hill Park, in front of the American Visionary Arts Museum, and at the promenade in the Inner Harbor.
